Where to stay in Ibiza

Ibiza is constantly evolving, so knowing where to stay is of paramount importance. While Ibiza is primarily known as a party destination, with legendary Ibiza Spain nightlife, it's also a diverse island with quiet villages, beaches, family-friendly resorts, and yoga retreats. Ibiza truly has something for everyone.







PLAYA D'EN BOSSA

 

Playa d'en Bossa knows how to snub. This extremely popular resort has deposited itself as the sybarite capital of Ibiza. With all the action condensed along one stretch of road, you will noway be too far from the jubilee. There are quieter corridor of the resort too, so know that staying then doesn't automatically mean noise. You will find all periods then- it's far from just for people under the age of 25. Along the main road, you have the super-clubs Hï Ibiza and Ushuaïa, but Playa d'en Bossa is also well known for its day, deepwater action. The sand is long and wide and is speckled along its length with awful bars and caffs – from the rumbustious fun of Bora Bora, to the glamour of the Nassau Beach Club, there's commodity for every taste. All make great spots from which to observe, have a great mess and drag cool amalgamations. IBIZA TOWN

 

The island's capital is steeped in history and has lots of cuties places to visit. It's essential to explore the narrow cobbled streets of the walled stronghold of Dalt Vila, which bristle with magnetic bars and restaurants. Make sure you tromp down the lively harbourage and the gay street, Calle de la Virgen, for a exercise of all the pre-club activity every night, if only just to watch the colour of the club processions. SANTA EULALIA

 

Santa Eulalia is a pretty town, attracting all nationalities and age groups and has lots of reasonably-priced apartments and hotels to choose from. There are plenty of shops and boutiques to browse and the pavement cafes are perfect spots for watching beautiful people pass by.

SAN ANTONIO

 

San Antonio is legion an Ibiza Virgin's first taste of the isle and has a lots to offer the enthusiastic youthful party - lover. The main beach of San Antonio is busy in the summer months and the centre of all day exertion. You'll find some great bars to stop at and refresh yourself, as you tromp along the beachfront walk. Pool parties are all the rage in Ibiza and San Antonio boasts two of the stylish venues on the islet - O Beach and the Ibiza Rocks Hotel. The iconic Sunset Strip is home to a host of bars, including the notorious Mambo and Café del Mar, with the edge point, Anchorpeople and soundtrack forfeiture- tuned for those fabulous Ibiza evenings. Over in the centre of city, the famous West End packs a amazing quantity of fast- food eateries and bars into a small area. At night, the big" San An" clubs, Eden and Es Paradis, come alive for dancing the night down or enjoy day clubbing in the open- air venues - O Beach and Ibiza Rocks. ES CANAR

 

The small seaside resort of Es Canar on the coast of Santa Eulalia is geared towards families, with a range of all-inclusive hotels offering entertainment and children's facilities at competitive prices. The clean, wide, shallow beach is perfect for the little ones. Famous for hosting the island's huge weekly hippie market, holidaymakers flock here to buy handmade goods for Christmas or for themselves. If you're looking for a less expensive, hassle-free family vacation, Escana is worth considering.

PORTINATX

 

Away from the young party crowd, Portinatx is the island's northernmost resort and represents gritty Ibiza. This resort is more family friendly with three beautiful beaches and a wealth of water activities such as snorkeling, paddle boating and paddle boarding, as well as many great boat trips. This well-appointed little urban paradise has bars and restaurants and is within walking distance of all hotels, so you don't have to go far to unwind.
